           ISTE STUDENTS CHAPTER,one of the active chapters of NBKRIST started in the year 1999 with an objective of providing platform for enhancing the technical skills and social skills i.e communication skills and personality skills which are necessary for a better living in the present day global competition. The ISTE student chapter serves as a common community for stimulating and guiding its members to formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education for the service of mankind and helps in the advancement of general welfare and gives a hand to build up the career .

The major objectives of the ISTE student chapter are:

• To formulate the general goals & responsibilities of technical education..
• To enhance professional ideals & standards among the students.

         The student chapter organizes every week an event to all its members on the fields of technical which improves the ideology and standards of technical education and social which creates the participant to improve his basic skills required for life ie., social skills,(communication,speaking,and leadership qualities etc..,).The chapter provides guest lectures and seminars on the important fields of the engineering and interactive sessions by experts are also taken up to promote the importance of the ethical values.National level symposiums and workshop are taken as a challenge to organize.Educational tours are organized to create a better understanding of the subject practically.
